Bump Progression #2

I love a bump progression, don't you?  It's fun to look back and see how I grew...and of course, realize that grey appeared to my go-to color!

You can read all about my second pregnancy here.  And if you want to reference my first pregnancy, start here.

Welcoming Wyatt: A Birth Story

It's amazing how different a birth story can go the second time around.  Wyatt decided to surprise us and come a week early, which I was certainly not expecting.  Ethan was a week late, and I was using that experience as my guide with this pregnancy.  I worked the week leading up to Wyatt's birth day...we did all the usual things that weekend before.  I had no signs of labor that would indicate that things would go any differently.  But Wyatt had different plans!

I remember we had our 38 week appointment the Tuesday before and my doctor did his first internal check.  He told me I was 2.5 cm along and that my cervix was favorable.  He also told me he was on call all weekend so it would be a perfect time to have the baby!  ;)  I took it with a grain of salt.  Ryan, on the other hand, took it a little more literally, and thank goodness!  He pulled out all of Ethan's newborn clothes to wash and installed the carseat.  I, on the other hand, still thought we had a ton of time to prep for baby.  In fact, I was planning to work that coming week and then maybe back off the week of his due date.

Early Monday morning, around 6:30 am, I felt a little pop and a gush of fluid.  Not a huge gush, but it was something.  I ignored it.  Then I felt another pop followed with the same sensation.  We have one of the alarm clocks that projects the time on the ceiling {you should get one if you don't have one, they're amazing!} and wanted to get a little more sleep.  Plus, I know if I started shifting around, it would wake the cat, who would then pester me for her breakfast.  So I probably tried to go back to sleep for about 15 minutes before I realized I should probably check out what I felt.  When I got up to go to the bathroom, I knew this was not "normal" fluid.  It was definitely different, had a distinct odor, and there was a lot of it.  I yelled at Ryan: Babe, I think my water broke.  He shot out of bed and started working through all the things we needed to do.  I was still not convinced this was "it".  I didn't leak any more fluid, didn't have any contractions...maybe I was mistaken.  Plus, I figured we would have all day to labor at home, before I went into the hospital.  Ryan suggested I call the doctor's office anyway...just to be sure.

I called them and they said, "Well you were 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced at your last appointment {I was?!} and since this is your second, you should come in right away."  Wait, whaaaaat?!  I didn't feel prepared at all.  I still needed to wrap things up at work {big lesson learned there} and I didn't have my hospital bag backed, or the diaper bag.  So that morning, I was responding to work emails, putting my out of office on, packing my bags, getting Ethan ready for school {and took some pics!} and I still didn't feel any different.  Was this really happening?!

We checked into the hospital around 10am and they asked how I was feeling...was I experiencing contractions?  I felt the same, other than I knew my water had broken.  They hooked me up to the heart monitor and all looked fine, but I really wasn't experiencing contractions...little ones, but nothing to write home about.  It was kind of an odd waiting game.  With Ethan, they made me walk the halls and sent me home after it was clear I wasn't far enough along {but of course, my water didn't break with Ethan}.  This time, I suggested walking the halls, to see if that would help {it didn't}.  But they were firm that I was staying put.

Eventually, the conversation came up about starting me on Pitocin.  Ironic that my water broke, but that I still needed the drugs to get things going.  I was worried that it would be a slippery slope, but they assured me it wouldn't, plus it was critical to get things started since they wanted to get the baby out within 24 hours of my water breaking.  So, they started me on Pitocin and I still didn't feel anything.  I really thought we would be there all day and night!

Several hours later, I started to feel tightening at the top of my uterus, which I understand is what a Braxton Hick feels like...ha!  It definitely wasn't the deep down, excruciating pain that I remember with Ethan.  Maybe this labor would be different?  The doctor finally checked me around then and said I was maaaaybe 2.5 centimeters dilated and maaaaaybe 70-80% effaced?  Um, what?  I thought I would be further along--not going backwards!  The anesthesiologist came in and said he was going home for the night {random side note, but we were the only ones in the L&D wing that day...welcome to a small mountain town, so things were slow, to say the least!} and did I want the epidural yet?  I was in zero pain, so I declined.  He said he would be on call until 7pm that night and that he only lived about 5 minutes away, so he could be back asap if I needed him.  I was doubtful that I would.  The doctor ordered the nursers to turn up my Pitocin some more.

Well...not 30 minutes later did I start to feel those deep down pains.  Those gut-wrenching menstrual-like cramps that take your uterus and twist it until you feel inside out.  Ugh, I did not miss those!  I told Ryan that I thought I would be ready for the epidural soon.  He said, ok, well just let me know when you are.

I'm ready...like NOW!

I felt like a wimp...I don't think I was more than 4cm and here I was, crying uncle.  But they were coming on strong and with no mercy and that 5 minute drive may as well have been an 5 hours.  As the anesthesiologist was walking me through the process and I was bent over the table, I literally started to cry every time a contraction hit.  No bueno.  But finally, the epidural was administered and he told me that the contractions would lessen each time and they did.  But as they lessoned, pressure started to build up, down there.  He administered the epidural around 5:30 and I thought that it would slow down my labor {as epidurals tend to do}, but by 6:15, the pressure was really starting to build.

I told Ryan, who told the nurse, who then checked me and sure enough she confirmed that I was an 8 going on a 9 with the baby's head right there and that she was going to call my doctor in now.  I couldn't believe how quickly I had progressed and that the time to push was here.  My doctor cruised in, threw on his scrubs and told me on the next contraction that it was time to push.  I couldn't believe it!  It was all going so fast!

I pushed and felt the same insane pressure...it HURT, but more from the pressure than anything else.  He told me that the baby was going to be out on the second contraction with a little cut, and I didn't believe him.  He told me the cord was wrapped around his neck {instant panic set in, not again!}.  But sure enough, the second contraction came around, I pushed and out he came.  I started pushing at 6:40 and he arrived in my arms at 6:43 pm.

Now this is where I get really emotional, because this was the part I never got to experience with Ethan.  They placed that baby right on my chest and my gut instinct was to ask if he was ok.  Wasn't the cord wrapped around his neck?  Was he breathing ok?  But my doc was such a rockstar, he pulled the cord off without a second thought and my baby was perfectly fine.  They placed him on my chest and he let out the sweetest little cries and he was all mine.  Ryan got to cut the cord {which he never got to do with Ethan} and we got to just be.  He even started rooting right away and latched right on.  It was the most magical and surreal experience ever.  I'll never forget it.  Wyatt was so alert and sweet...he looked right into my eyes and I felt my heart grow twice as big in that moment.

I instantly said , "Ah this is how it's supposed to be.  I could do this again!"  That surge of love {and hormones!} is unlike any other.  I was just so in love.

They say every labor is different and I am so pleased that this one came out the way it did.  The staff was so on point and to have such a quick and smooth delivery was such a blessing for me.  Wyatt is already such an added joy in our lives and I am so happy he is here.  It feels like he was always supposed to be a part of our family.

You can read Ethan's birth story here.

Wyatt's First Week

Whew!  What a week!  I still can't believe that Wyatt was born one week ago and that he's been in our lives ever since.  It's been a whirlwind, to say the least!  I wanted to write a little recap of everything we've been up to this last week, though I am going to limit baby updates to a monthly basis from here on out.

We left off with me at 39 weeks this past Monday, the 12th.  When I took this picture I already knew the baby was coming soon since my water broke that morning {I plan to write Wyatt's birth story separately}.  I had NO idea that little Wyatt was planning to make an early appearance...I was still working full-time, I was planning to work all last week and I didn't have any signs of labor looming.  Since Ethan was late, I was figured this guy would be late too!

Trust me, I am thrilled that Wyatt decided to make an early appearance but it was definitely a little jarring at first.  I miss being pregnant {which is crazy because I was in so much discomfort towards the end...damn hormones!} and still have projects that need to be completed.  Being a type-A personality, I'm a planner, not the spontaneous type!  Wyatt is teaching me new lessons each day about going with the flow.  ;)

I am completely biased, but he is totally worth it!  He is such a good baby so far...he latched on right away and is pretty easy going--which is awesome, especially with a rambunctious toddler on our hands.

Speaking of Ethan, he is adjusting waaaaay better than I could have anticipated.  He was so sweet the morning I went into labor.  It was almost like he knew...this was his last morning with his mama as an only child.  We read stories together and took some sweet photos {here and here}.  He met Wyatt later that night and just loves kissing his head, petting him, and holding him.  He is definitely aware that the dynamics have shifted...sometimes, I'll catch Ryan and I fussing over the baby and Ethan will just be standing there, kind of lost, like...wait, why is this baby getting all the attention?  We try to keep him on his same routine and have been making sure to include him in as much baby related activities as we can.  He loves helping with the baby and is always asking questions.  Oh!  And if you're looking for a good book for an older sibling, check out "Don't Eat the Baby".  My grandma got it for Ethan and he LOVES it.  We changed the names in the stories to fit our family and he insists we read it to him every night.  Overall, I think he's really excited to be a big brother and I just know that will be good buddies soon enough.

Even though Ethan is two and a half years old, he'll always be our first baby.  But comparing him to Wyatt, he sure does look like a big boy!  That's his hand with Wyatt's above.  We plan to move Ethan in to his big boy room soon, which he is very excited about.  Now, just to find the time!

Ryan's been an amazing dad this past week...I would have not survived without him.  He's been taking the first night shift so I can get a couple hours in without worrying about the baby.  It's been a lifesaver.  We joke about how we forgot about the sleepless nights and how challenging the first week is.  He's also been amazing with Ethan...playing with him and making him feel special since I'm so preoccupied at the moment.  We're basically walking zombies, but we love having this little man in our lives.

Today, we had an in-home nurse visit and Wyatt is up to 7 pounds .5 ounces, which is just music to my ears!  That means he's put on almost 10 ounces since his first pediatrician appointment on Thursday...yay!  We also learned at our pedi appointment that Wyatt has a slight tongue tie that they're going to snip this coming Thursday...gulp!  Makes me sad, but I know it's for the best.

All in all, week one has exceeded our expectations.  Life with two children is already proving to be so much fun {I know...ask me again in a couple months!}.  I love that our family is growing and it all seems so right for us.

I hope to be back soon with postpartum favorites and Wyatt's birth story, so be sure to check back in!

He's Here!!!

We are so pleased to announce the arrival of our son

:: Wyatt John ::

Wyatt decided to make an early arrival this past Monday, January 12th...39 weeks on the dot!  He weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces and 19.25 inches long.

We are so grateful for a smooth and relatively easy delivery.  I plan to share more details later, but in the meantime, someone is hungry!!  ;)

38 Weeks

How far along? 38 Weeks {first 38 week update}
Baby Size: The size of a leek?
Total weight gain: 30ish pounds...somewhere in that ballpark.
Maternity clothes? Just scooped up this top from Target...basically lots of sweaters and leggings.
Stretch marks? Looks like I'm still in the clear...from what I can see!
Sleep: Ugh, this last week has been rough!  Ethan has had the flu which has kept us up and we're in the process of painting Ethan's new room, which was previously the kitty's lair...so she is disheveled, and taking it out on us.  And I'm just over the shifting from side to side and feeling like a turtle on its back every time I get out of bed.  Fun times!
Best moment this week: Finally getting Ethan's big boy room started and of course, celebrating the new year...2015 is going to be a great one!  ;)
Miss Anything? There's a lot that I miss, but there is also a lot that I love right now.  I love the rolls and the kicks and know I will miss it once he's out.  I'm also trying to cherish every moment with Ethan and I know I'm going to miss that once this new baby comes along.  All in all...everything that I miss doesn't compare to everything that I love about being pregnant right now.
Movement: Keeping a close eye on the movement every day!
Food cravings: Eh, kind of over food at the moment...
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Meeting our little guy THIS month and finally getting prepared for his arrival...as in washing clothes, buying diapers and getting his nursery set up...finally!
Differences this time? Well this time last pregnancy, I was on maternity leave by this point.  It was also summer!  This time, I'll likely work closer to my due date...so that should be interesting!

37 Weeks

This week called for a night shot...a late night shot!  Sorry for the poor quality!

How far along? 37 Weeks {first 37 week update}
Baby Size: A bunch of Swiss chard
Total weight gain:I really think I'm closer to 30 pounds post-holidays...
Maternity clothes? Yet again, more accessories and mostly all maternity clothes...eep!  I got this fun scarf from my sister-in-law and her husband for my birthday...love!
Stretch marks? Who knows, but I think I'm still good.
Sleep: Just the usual cramping, aches and pains.  Shifting from side-to-side is nearly impossible now!
Best moment this week: Definitely celebrating Christmas and a close second was my birthday!  ;)
Miss Anything? Having tons of energy.  With my first pregnancy, I was out walking and hiking no problem.  Now, I can barely waddle across the room...help!
Movement: Still tons and tons of rolls.
Food cravings: Everything sounds good--I just try not to eat too much in one sitting.
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: 2015 and knowing that I can soon say that I get to meet my soon THIS month!
Differences this time? Lack of energy and just getting around in general.  I remember complaining about it last time, but I'm serious this time around!  ;)

xo natasha

36 Weeks

How far along? 36 Weeks {first 36 week update}
Baby Size: A head of romaine lettuce...or like I've got a bowl full of jelly!  ;)
Total weight gain: 25ish pounds
Maternity clothes? Since I tend to be wearing the same thing over and over again, I'm trying to add more accessories, like this scarf!
Stretch marks? I think I'm still good...knock on wood!
Sleep: Eh, we're trying to sleep train the cat {aka get her to stop waking me up at 5am} and dealing with my achy back.  Sleep is so-so.
Best moment this week: Having family come into town, getting a pedi with two of my preggo girlfriends and getting ready for CHRISTMAS!!  Can't believe it's the day after tomorrow!
Miss Anything? Pretty much miss my body as a whole.
Movement: Rollin' a ton!
Food cravings: Still lovin' my Raisin Bran...and any holiday treats...I don't discriminate!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Why, Christmas of course!!!
Differences this time? I think it's clear I'm bigger this time around...it will be interesting to see if this baby is any bigger!

And with Christmas around the corner, I have a fun poll going on right now on my Instagram.  What's your tradition for Christmas...does Santa wrap or leave your gifts unwrapped?  Chime in below!

35 Weeks

How far along? 35 Weeks {first 35 week update}.  Last time, I was super excited that my due date was 30 days away...now that sounds terrifying!  I need more time!
Baby Size: A honeydew melon
Total weight gain: 25 pounds
Maternity clothes? My options are becoming more narrow by the day...I'm really getting over it!  This dress is on repeat from Target!
Stretch marks? From what I can see...I think I'm still good.
Sleep: My lower back is killing me and my foot cramps are SUPER bad.  I am starting to take vitamin D, per a friend's recommendation to help.  Fingers crossed.
Best moment this week: Our Christmas party!
Miss Anything? Not waddling constantly...
Movement: Rolls and jabs galore :)
Food cravings: Food sounds less interesting by the day...I'm just so full and big now.
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Celebrating December birthdays this weekend and having my sis-in-law and her husband come into town...yay!
Differences this time? Just way more achy and crampy.  My lower back is definitely taking a toll this time around.  Help!

xo natasha

34 Weeks

How far along? 34 Weeks {first 34 week update}
Baby Size: A cantaloupe
Total weight gain: 23-24 pounds
Maternity clothes? Leggings all day, everyday.  And this cute poncho {also available here} that I scored on Black Friday!
Stretch marks? Still ok...that I can tell!
Sleep: I keep forgetting to mention that I've been consistently sleeping through the night--no potty breaks for me.  I actually blame the cat for this.  If I wake up in the middle of the night, she instantly thinks it's time for her to be fed and will not leave me alone until she gets fed.  So basically, the cat has sleep trained this pregnant lady!
Best moment this week: Getting our tree up and celebrating special moments with friends over the weekend.
Miss Anything? My back!
Movement: Kicking my ribs and lots of rolls.
Food cravings: Still loving my sweets.
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Our annual Christmas party this weekend!
Differences this time?  Somehow this question fell off, but it's worth noting my hair issues.  This time, I'm definitely noticing how amazing my hair is...I can go days without washing it--it never gets greasy.  And it's definitely thicker.  I love it.  But...the hair doesn't stop there...I've been in denial, but it's pretty clear to me that I'm getting a lot more hair along my jawline, which is SO not attractive.  Woof.

33 Weeks

How far along? 33 Weeks {first 33 week update}.  Can't believe we get to meet this baby NEXT month!
Baby Size: A pineapple
Total weight gain: 22-23 pounds
Maternity clothes? Finally scored this amazing plaid shirt, which is a great layering piece during pregnant.  My necklace is from Stella & Dot.
Stretch marks? Looking good...knock on wood!
Sleep: Other than lower back pains and foot cramps, sleeping well!  ;)
Best moment this week: Seeing friends and family over Thanksgiving down in southern CA.
Miss Anything? Having tons of energy!
Movement: Moovin' and groovin'!
Food cravings: Milk and cookies...Raisin Bran...and anything seasonal.
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Getting our Christmas tree this week!

32 Weeks

How far along? 32 Weeks {first 32 week update}.

Stretch marks? Lathering on the lotion multiple times a day!
Sleep: Meh.  My lower back and shoulder are killing me!  Welcome to month 8.  ;)
Best moment this week: Spending a rainy fall Saturday parked on the couch with some hot cocoa.  Savoring the little moments like that.  OH!  And Ryan was my hero and brought home this beloved stool for the nursery....it's starting to shape up!
Miss Anything? I think I'm going to miss all the holiday cocktails coming up this week!
Movement: Big movements all over the place.
Food cravings: Still loving my sweets.
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to:  Going down south to see friends and family this Thanksgiving weekend!

xo natasha

31 Weeks

How far along? 31 Weeks {first 31 week update}.
Baby Size: A coconut
Total weight gain: 20+ pounds
Maternity clothes? More leggings and cozy sweaters.
Stretch marks? Doing ok still.
Sleep: Ugh, it's getting harder.  My left foot keeps cramping and it's SO painful.  Also, my lower back is taking a major toll.  Oh and it seems like my allergies are acting up...my eyes were so goopy the morning I took this photo.  Oy!
Best moment this week: Taking our Christmas photos this past weekend!
Miss Anything?  I miss my back feeling normal.
Movement: Lots of rolls and kicks into the ribs!
Food cravings: Sweets and more sweets...the holidays are here!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: No big plans this week...just thinking more and more about the room decorating.  And I can't believe that this little man will make his debut in less than 10 weeks...that is CRAY-ZAY!
Differences this time around: I feel like the foot cramps are way worse this time around!

xo natasha

30 Weeks

How far along? 30 Weeks {first 30 week update}.
Baby Size: A large cabbage
Total weight gain: I show 21.5 pounds but my doctor had me at 14 pounds.  I actually lost weight in my first trimester, so that must be where the discrepancy is coming from.
Maternity clothes? Maternity bottoms and regular tops.  This one is from Target.
Stretch marks? Getting more paranoid by the day...
Sleep: My lower back is definitely starting to take a toll.  I feel huge, achy and did I mention huge?
Best moment this week: Visiting Jane in Portland...recap here!
Miss Anything?  Missing amazing coffee in Portland...and their donuts too!
Movement: Yes, all the time!
Food cravings: Let's see...bagels, especially the pumpkin flavored ones.  Sweets...of any kind.  And Raisin Bran...random!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: We *plan* to start working on the nursery and big boy room this weekend.
Differences this time around: My doctor said it's not in my head, that in subsequent pregnancies, you tend to get larger faster but then in the third trimester, it slows down {aka we don't keep growing...I hope that's true!}.  Also, that you may experience a lot more lower pressure, which is definitely the case with me.  Overall, I just feel less limber and able to get around.

Baby #2 Nursery Design Board

Since finding out that we're having a boy, my ideas have changed on what I want for his nursery.  You last saw this gender neutral board here, but since then I've been much more drawn to somewhat of a mid-century modern, eclectic and almost "western" theme, if you can call it that.

We already had the crib, rocker, and mobile, but it's this american buffalo print from The Animal Shop that has me pretty much obsessed with going in this direction.  I wish we could afford to buy a big one for over the crib, but at $3,500 for the 30"x40", it's just not going to happen!  So I settled on the small version and also just commissioned the amazing Yarn Bombed store to make these kick-ass antlers.

Are you seeing a theme yet?

We bought this shag rug and I just kicking myself for not getting the above faux fur stool from Target {though I am considering this similar option}.  Next, I need to find a cool kilim pillow and brass fixture to match our new...

dresser!!  Ain't she a beaut?  We found her on Craigslist and I am positive we will keep the natural wood color and the brass hardware, but I am thinking about adding some legs/feet to the bottom to give it more of a mid-century look.  Thoughts?

So that's where we stand with the nursery...I am getting more and more excited about putting the plans into place.  But first, I need to move Ethan over to his big-boy room!

PS...don't forget to enter for a chance to win $40 to In Bloom Boutique!

29 Weeks

How far along? 29 Weeks {first 29 week update}.
Baby Size: A butternut squash
Total weight gain: Let's just call it 20 pounds and quickly counting!
Maternity clothes? Leggings and sweaters...leggings and dresses...and more leggings.  It's cooling off quite a bit here {we had our first snow over the weekend!} and so I foresee a lot of leggings in the future.  I also bought another pair of maternity jeans.  I'll post them soon, permitting they fit.  And I plan to post more on this dress ^ tomorrow!
Stretch marks? Good, but I swear my belly is stretching more this time.  Everything feels itchy and taut...it worries me!
Sleep: Sleeping well...not even getting up for potty breaks, which may or may not be a good thing?  Maybe I need to up my water intake.
Best moment this week: Giants winning the world series and the first snow of the season!  OH and Halloween of course!  ;)
Miss Anything?  Just feeling like a normal person.
Movement: Lots of stretches and kicks.
Food cravings: Sweets...it's bad!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Our trip to Portland this weekend!  Can't wait to hang out with Jane and eat our pregnant selves through the city!  ;)
Differences this time around: So this time around, I have a doctor that is fine with me leaving the hill.  If you reference back to my 29 post from the first time around, I wasn't able to travel at all after 28 weeks, which was a huge bummer for a number of reasons.  This time, I'll be flying at 29 weeks and again at 32 weeks.  Granted, both times are on the west coast, but still!  It's a pretty big difference this time around.

xo natasha

28 Weeks

Baby Size: An eggplant.
Total weight gain: Pretty sure I'm 18+ pounds.  All the Halloween candy and sweets are not helping!

Miss Anything? Not really...being pregnant during the fall & holidays is pretty great.  Not gonna lie!
Movement: Lots of rolls.
Food cravings: Pumpkin mmmm!!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Halloween of course!
Differences this time around: Just feeling larger and larger by the day...and weirdly still waiting for my linea nigra to come in.  I also have a crazy feeling that the next three months are going to FLY by!  How will I have time to decorate for the holidays, decorate the boys room, buy Christmas gifts, and enjoy the season??  I'm starting to stress!

xo natasha

27 Weeks

How far along? 27 Weeks {first 27 week update}
Baby Size: A cauliflower...or about two pounds.
Total weight gain: It's looking more like 17-18 pounds, maybe more!
Maternity clothes? This is actually a normal Gap dress but it has lots of stretch and the material is nice and thick.  Perfect for fall!
Stretch marks? Zilch.
Sleep: It's getting harder.  We had an out of town wedding this past weekend and sleeping in a hotel bed is pretty rough!
Best moment this week: Seeing all of our college friends at the wedding.
Miss Anything? I was asked multiple times if it was hard not being able to drink at the wedding, but it really wasn't.  After all...there was cake!
Movement: More rolls...love seeing him move and groove from the outside!
Food cravings: Sweets, sweets and more sweets.  #sobad
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Our last wedding of the season and it's Halloween themed!  Can't wait!
Differences this time around: I feel like I can eat way more this time around.  Last time, I would get stuffed quickly.  Now...not so much.  And the scale is noticing it!  Oops!  I'm thinking this boy will be bigger than Ethan, who was only 6 pounds 3 ounces at birth.  We shall see!

xo natasha

26 Weeks

How far along? 26 Weeks {first 26 week update}
Baby Size: A cabbage
Total weight gain: 15+
Maternity clothes? Lots of tunics {this one is from Nordstrom last year, but the brand is Trouve and I found a similar option here} and leggings {loving this brand} right now.  This cute scarf is from Zara, but there is an identical one at Target.
Stretch marks? Still looking good.
Sleep: I wake up feeling parched in the morning and usually have a stuffy nose.  And those pesky bathroom breaks.  But otherwise, still feeling good!
Best moment this week: Getting to meet Natalie and Blair!  I also ordered the rug for the nursery and it just came in.  Can't wait to share!  ;)
Miss Anything? I miss bending over and not feeling so large and in charge!
Movement: The movement makes it all worth it...even Ethan is trying to feel him.
Food cravings: I had a random craving for Starburst candy last week.
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Another fun wedding this weekend!
Differences this time around: Nothing really sticks out {other than the obvious!} at the moment.  Just trying to take it all in.  ;)

xo natasha

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 Weeks {first 25 week update}
Baby Size: An eggplant
Total weight gain: Looks like I'm up 15.
Maternity clothes? I got some fun things while we were down south.  This is an American Vintage dress and it's SO comfy.  Seriously perfect as a maternity dress and will be great post-pregnancy too.  I also got these pants and they are super soft and comfortable!  They also come in blue
Stretch marks? Nada.
Sleep: Getting a stuffy nose that's a little annoying.  OH!  And the worst foot cramps at bedtime.  They're the worst!
Best moment this week: Having a fun fall weekend including Oktoberfest, the Fish Festival and baking pumpkin treats!
Miss Anything? Not really!  Just enjoying this time of my pregnancy right now.
Movement: More rolls and jabs!
Food cravings: Pumpkin!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: Enjoying another fall weekend in Tahoe!
Differences this time around: Way more foot cramps this time around.

How far along? 24 Weeks {first 24 week update}
Baby Size: Size of an ear of corn
Total weight gain: After this week...I would say a solid 15!  ;)
Maternity clothes? Still a mix but as the temps start to cool down, I imagine more maternity jeans and leggings!
Stretch marks? Still clear.
Sleep: Sleeping in hotel rooms is rough but otherwise, I'm sleeping well!
Best moment this week: By far the best moment of this past week was seeing my brother get married {recap to come soon!}.  Also seeing lots of family and friends down south.
Miss Anything? Missing family and friends, but nothing pregnant related!  ;)
Movement: Lots of kicks and punches!
Food cravings: Oh man, I had a lot of great food this past weekend, including amazing doughnuts and wedding cake.  I would say my food cravings are doing just fine!
Gender: BOY!
Looking forward to: The cooler fall temps and regrouping from our crazy week away!
Differences this time around: I feel like this baby is sitting on my bladder ALL.THE.TIME!  I'll literally feel like he sits there and then moves and I don't have to go anymore.  Kind of crazy!
