Our Summer in Lake Tahoe!

Life with two boys, while working full-time is no joke but we've really tried to enjoy the most out of summer...thus the lack of regular posts!  I honestly cannot believe tomorrow is the first day of September, but the late summer and early fall is a gorgeous time of year in Tahoe, so I say...bring it on!

Below is just a snapshot of our summer in photos...to keep up, follow me on Snapchat!  {schuelove}  You can also re ad about our trip to Lake Michigan and Ethan's birthday if you want to see more!  ;)

We tried to get out to the lake as much as possible!
Fourth of July at Edgewood!
Uncle Kirk and Aunt Heather came to visit!
 Ethan got a haircut!
We ate lots of charcuterie...and enjoyed wine at Revive!
We spent a good amount of time at the beach!
Ryan's sister and husband came to visit which was fun to have the whole Schue family together!
We celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary at the Hyatt in Incline Village!
The boys spent a lot of time with their cuzzies!
And probably most exciting this summer....Ethan is riding a bike without training wheels!

Thanks for indulging and understanding my absence...what fun things have you been up to this summer!

Craving Camel for Fall

Camel appears to be the color of the fall season and I can't say I'm mad about it.  A rich camel hue compliments most all hair and skin types...which makes it the ultimate neutral!  I've got my eye on a structured blazer and saddle bag for the fall.  What about you?

Happy Monday!

Target Haul

This past Saturday, I got to go to Target all...by...myself.  It was amazing!  And also sad with how excited that gets me...on a weekend evening no less.  If you're a mom, then you know what a gift that is.  And our Target is about an hour away...so yeah.

Here are some of the things I picked up....

Right now, shoes are buy one get one half off...so I grabbed these wedges {thanks to a co-worker's rec!} in black and nude.  They're perfect for work or a dressier occasion!

Have you heard of Target's new kid line, Cat & Jack?  They have so many cute things and it's all guaranteed for up to a year.  Love!  They have something for everyone...check out the line here.  I also got this adorable fox shirt.

I love this line of candles...they're really fragrant, in a good way.  In addition to the gardenia scent, I also love the Dandelion & Clover and Vetiver & Cardamom.

I love Rebecca Atwood's Method hand soap and they just introduces three new scents.  It is too early to get excited for fall!?

I also discovered a new line called West Emory, which has the prettiest storage options for jewelry, amongst other things.  See the full line here.

New workout attire always provides good motivation to workout.  I love the fit of this top--it's super cute with the cutout in the back.  It's also nice and thick so there is no weird clinging.

These sandals are on major sale for end of season and they're super cute in person!

Have you scored anything at Target lately??

Friday Finds

Happy Friday!  I hope you've had a great week...and are looking forward to a better weekend!  :)

Below are some recent finds...

How gorgeous is this lace dress?  I would love it for an upcoming wedding or the holidays!  Additional size can be found here and here!

I love these pumps with the scalloped detail...they come in three colors too!  Perfect for the office or a fun dinner out!

I'm currently serving jury duty {on a 4 week case, no less} and have had a lot of waiting time.  The upside, is that it's forced me to get back into reading and I am LOVING The Girl on the Train!  It's a pretty quick read, and parts of it remind me of Gone Girl.  PLUS, the movie comes out this fall!  Yes!  I'll be in need of a new book soon, so let me know if you have any recs in the comment section.

I love this top for the fall...and it's only $19!

We have a wedding in Carmel next month and we've been researching places to stay when I stumbled upon Hotel Carmel...isn't it SO cute!  It looks like a bloggers paradise!  If you've been to Carmel and have tips on places to eat and things to do, let me know!

Ethan + Wyatt Family Photo Sesh

Several weeks ago, we had Melissa of Melissa Vossler Photography take our family photos.  Melissa is a southern CA photographer (now based out of Raleigh!) that was visiting the area around the same time that Ethan turned 4 and Wyatt was a year and a half.  We love seeing both boy's personality captured in this shoot.  It was hard to pick our favorites, but I tried my best!  I hope you enjoy...

Back to Pre-School Style

It's back to school time, which means fall is around the corner!  I love all the cute styles out for fall--especially for the little guys in our lives.  I gathered together some of my favorite picks above.  I'm loving vests, high tops and quirky backpacks for my boys!

Happy Monday!

Friday Finds

Happy Friday and boy am I glad that this week is coming to a close!  Between being selected for jury duty, losing a diamond in my ring, and having my A/C go out in my car...it's been quite a doozy!  Needless to say, I am looking forward to the weekend!

Here is a random smattering of my recent finds!

If you love S'well and Gray Malin, then you will LOVE this super cute water bottle!  I want!

And I am quite enamored with the fun bow detail on this sweater!  It's a little pricey but totally worth the investment, IMO.

Has anyone been watching the new HBO series, The Night Of?  Ryan and I got into it this past weekend and we are hooked.  It's a combination of all my favorites: Serial, Making a Murdered, Orange is the New Black and Better Call Saul.

In case you aren't aware, this peplum top is quite the hot commodity right now and they're selling like hot cakes.  Keep checking back as they're constantly restocking!

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't religiously been watching the olympics so far, but I loved this little trivia post on things to know about the games.  Gymnastics are my favorite thing to watch, however I have to give a hometown shoutout to April Ross who is competing in beach volleyball!  It's pretty awesome to watch her!

Last, clearly fall is on my mind and I just adore these wedge booties.  Also love these for the winter!

I hope you have a great weekend!
