Life Lately: Scottsdale + JT

Oh Scottsdale! We escaped to the desert over the kid's ski break to get away from the snow. And well...it SNOWED there too! It was really wild, but still nice to spend some time with friends and family!

Thank goodness for a hot jacuzzi...it was about 50 degrees in this photo though!

Also thank goodness for yummy cocktails! We love Tonto Grill in Cave Creek in case you're in the area! Shop my sweater {on sale!} + camo shirt + ring!

Due to the cold weather, we decided to check out the aquarium one day. It was a good little energy burn for the boys!

And the boys all went hiking, while the moms went shopping!

How most of our nights looked...thank goodness for Uggs and blankets {and wine!}!

No snow was going to slow us down! ;)

Also thank goodness for indoor bowling! Bowlero is definitely somewhere we'd go back!

Last, thank goodness for good friends who fly in from the snow...only to put up with more snow! We need a re-do!

Just one night after flying back from Scottsdale, a couple of us mamas went to go to see JT! I also just got this top, and love it for the spring!

We had seats on the floor and it was SO neat seeing him up close and personal. He puts on a great show!

Last, I couldn't sign off without telling you about my new coat purchase. It's the coveted "Amazon Jacket" and it's worth all the hype! You cannot beat the price point and it is SO warm! Like Tahoe snow warm! 100% worth it!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! We're hosting dinner tonight with a yummy cioppino...the tradition continues! I thought I would catch you up on all of the holiday happenings around here!

Our Christmas card this year!

Home Alone and Wilson...who's definitely on the good list this year!

Wyatt's room is finally coming together! And I think I want to keep that little tree up all year!

We went down to Southern CA to celebrate with my side of the family earlier this month...and the boys got to visit with Santa!

This time last year, our house was being built and we envisioned having a big tree up in this corner. It's very magical to see it now...in all it's twelve foot glory!

Matching PJs are the best! You can find these there here!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!!

Our 4th!

We've had a whirlwind of fun the last couple days! Our good friends were in town and we felt like we were on vacation along with them!

My dress + Kristen's top {she bought it after seeing it here and now I want it!}

We got to visit a new wine bar in town, Tahoe Pourhouse, while letting the boys run wild and listening to music!

There's nothing that signifies summer more than the ICE CREAM TRUCK! The boys were in heaven!

We got to escape to Edgewood for an kid-free dinner!

Of course, no vacation is complete unless you get out on the lake!

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!

Easter 2018

Happy Monday!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend, with exceptionally nice weather. It feel amazing to be outside and soaking up some much needed Vitamin D!

Dying eggs in short sleeves and shorts with the surrounding snow. That's spring in Tahoe for ya!

Sunday morning kicked off with an Easter egg hunt at home + Easter baskets. We got the boys a new teepee this year and the cutest dinosaur slippers! Wyatt wants to wear his everywhere!

My Dress + Shoes {in black

Later that morning, we went to our friend's house for brunch + an outdoor Easter egg hunt! So much  fun!

I loved seeing Wyatt really get in the spirit this year...he was much more competitive with his Easter Egg hunting skills!

Gang's all here!

That evening, we had dinner with Ryan's family which was the perfect end to a great day!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!!

Life Lately

Sorry for the radio silence lately...life is moving full speed ahead and I feel like I blink and realize how long it's been since I've posted. You can always follow me on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with the latest shenanigans {like the above!}!

Wyatt loves playing dress up these days...he got a bunch of cute costumes for his birthday, including this astronaut one

We FINALLY got snow! The boys loved playing in the backyard in it!

My two hairy boys!

This fusilli alla vodka with basil and parmesan was delicious...a serious treat!

Our little #schuechefs!

A healthy mid-week dinner option is this Thai Chicken Soup, so yummy! Double the recipe so you can have it for lunch too!

More snow!

Wyatt is our gabby little shopper...he loves saying hi and chatting up everyone at the grocery store!

Bacon waffles make for the perfect snowy Sunday brunch!

Progress on #schuecasa! Siding is going up and we officially have a fireplace and bathtubs!

The Broadway musical, Kinky Boots, was in town a couple weekends ago, and it was a great excuse to get dressed up and enjoy a fun night out! Shop my sherpa top and faux leather pants {size up}.

Ethan's been busy with swim lessons lately!

Last, we escaped down to Walnut Creek to see friends and I scored this cute oversized wool sweater! We enjoyed the warmer weather and good company!
