Last Minute Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is in FIVE sleeps! Ah! If you're like me, then you're probably just now panicking and thinking about what to include in the kids' Easter baskets! Luckily, everything above can be delivered by Saturday, thanks Amazon Prime + Target! ;)

Wyatt has been loving "Where's Waldo" books lately, so I thought this unicorn book could be a fun change. We also got him a soccer ball because he is just loving soccer at the moment! Ethan's reading more and more and the Captain Underpants books are awesome for his age! I also got him this book...we'll see what he thinks!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!

Easter 2018

Happy Monday!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend, with exceptionally nice weather. It feel amazing to be outside and soaking up some much needed Vitamin D!

Dying eggs in short sleeves and shorts with the surrounding snow. That's spring in Tahoe for ya!

Sunday morning kicked off with an Easter egg hunt at home + Easter baskets. We got the boys a new teepee this year and the cutest dinosaur slippers! Wyatt wants to wear his everywhere!

Later that morning, we went to our friend's house for brunch + an outdoor Easter egg hunt! So much  fun!

I loved seeing Wyatt really get in the spirit this year...he was much more competitive with his Easter Egg hunting skills!

Gang's all here!

That evening, we had dinner with Ryan's family which was the perfect end to a great day!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!!

His + Her Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is quickly approaching and I've started to put some ideas together for the boys' Easter baskets. I will say, I'm pretty disappointed that Gap did not come out with Easter jammies for boys this year. Even the dino set I have above is technically meant for girls. This will be the last year the boys can match as Ethan is quickly growing out of toddler clothing...oh well!

On a bright note, I do love the cute wire baskets that are out right now! It's a fun twist on the traditional baskets!

What items do you include in your child's Easter basket?

Our Easter 2017

Oh Easter! We had such a fun {albeit very busy} day filled with way too many sweets and lots of egg hunting! Here's a quick recap:

I made these carrot cupcakes and they were delicious!

I wore my new Madewell blouse...along with these cute booties! And you can find my glitter iPhone case for super cheap here

The boys Easter baskets all ready to go!

Our weather has been all over the place lately...but this weekend we got some sunshine!

Dying eggs...a messy, but fun endeavor!

Easter morning was so fun because the boys really didn't expect anything! They lit up like it was Christmas morning, which was really fun to see this year! :)

Bunny jammies are from Gap...and yes, they're technically girl jammies! Oops!

Made this asparagus and gruyere tart which was really yummy!

We had brunch at our friend's house where there was LOTS of yummy food! I definitely over-indulged!

We had such a fun day but we all overdid it and Ethan ended up with a super upset tummy the night of Easter. Poor guy! We're on the BRAT diet today!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is in less than one week...say what?!

For those of you who are still on the hunt for the perfect Easter basket stuffers, look no further! Most of these items can be shipped in two-days, which eases the last-minute search.

The boys are at a fun age where if you buy more of a "baby" item, Ethan can't get enough of it, and if you buy more of a "big boy" item, Wyatt can't have it enough. What is that about? Too funny! Also, practical slip-on shoes and jammies are always a good idea. Oh, and sugar too!

Do you have all of your baskets ready to go? I can hardly wait!

Our Spring Mantel

Our mantel is always evolving, depending on the season. Right now, I'm happy to bring some color into the space by adding pops of color thanks to some seasonal decor and some personal touches, which include these new framed prints, courtesy of Shutterfly.

It's actually pretty rare that I print and frame photos, but I'm always glad I do once I have them. These are such precious moments, it's important to capture them!

For similar decor, check out Target...I love this wreath and this banner. Bunnies are from Pier 1.

I can't believe Easter is just a couple weeks away, can you?!
