Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is right around the corner so I thought I'd put together a little gift guide to spark some ideas! These are all little treasures that I love or admire...

The candle, wine, gummies and book are all things I have and LOVE! First, how can you go wrong with rose' gummies? The Nightingale scent of this candle is really beautiful. And a mama blogger that I follow and admire, Ashlee Gadd {seriously follow Coffee + Crumbs for inspiration!} just authored her very first book...how amazing is that?! Can't wait to dive in!

As for the wine...most people are familiar with meal delivery services, but have you heard of Winc? It's a monthly wine subscription service and home to the infamous Summer Water Rose...yum! Don't you just love the name?! And I know you can never go wrong with wine for Mother's Day! You can get $20 off your first box by clicking HERE!

Do you have fun ideas on your wish list?

Outfit Planning for Disneyland

We're planning to go to Disneyland soon for the boys very FIRST trip! I'm both excited and terrified at the prospect! ;)

First, we're driving down, which is about an 8+ hour drive! I grew up 20 minutes from Disney, so making a trip was never a big deal. Luckily, we still have family and friends that live nearby, so that's one less thing to worry about! We're planning on just going for one day...when the boys get older, we can see about making a two-day trip and including California Adventureland.

Second, it's supposed to be almost 90 degrees, which sounds like a nice reprieve from our cold Tahoe weather, but yikes! 90 is hot! So we'll be packing lots of sunscreen, maybe this brand. Also bringing lots of water {we have the the Klean Kanteens for the boys!} and the BOB stroller so Wyatt has some shade {and can hopefully nap!}.

Third, I just hope the boys enjoy it...I am sure it will be overwhelming but hoping the park will be more on the quiet side {if that's even a thing anymore} and that we get to hit up all the fun rides. Do you think they're too young for Pirates of the Caribbean?! ;)

I am not sure what I'll wear, but I just ordered these shorts and have the sneakers above, so we'll see what ends up working out. I also adore this shirt, so cute for a vacation!

So have you been to Disneyland yet with the kids? Any tips? I'd love to hear!

Jonesing for J.Crew

There are SO many cute things at J.Crew right now...like they are really speaking my language! Plus, I've never met a floral and striped combo I didn't like. Let's see what I mean...

I adore this combo--these shorts are so flattering and that blouse will work from spring, summer and into fall with the right accessories!

Gah, I could just die over that skirt {where OH where is it?!} and the striped/floral combo on top.

I mean, are you getting the theme? I think I like these shorts even better!

I'm always down for a cheeky shirt and tailored pants.

And this swimsuit could not be any more adorable!

Best part? You can get 25% off right now with code HOPTOIT...or 40% off sale!

Happy Weekend!

Our Easter 2017

Oh Easter! We had such a fun {albeit very busy} day filled with way too many sweets and lots of egg hunting! Here's a quick recap:

I made these carrot cupcakes and they were delicious!

I wore my new Madewell blouse...along with these cute booties! And you can find my glitter iPhone case for super cheap here

The boys Easter baskets all ready to go!

Our weather has been all over the place lately...but this weekend we got some sunshine!

Dying eggs...a messy, but fun endeavor!

Easter morning was so fun because the boys really didn't expect anything! They lit up like it was Christmas morning, which was really fun to see this year! :)

Bunny jammies are from Gap...and yes, they're technically girl jammies! Oops!

Made this asparagus and gruyere tart which was really yummy!

We had brunch at our friend's house where there was LOTS of yummy food! I definitely over-indulged!

We had such a fun day but we all overdid it and Ethan ended up with a super upset tummy the night of Easter. Poor guy! We're on the BRAT diet today!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is in less than one week...say what?!

For those of you who are still on the hunt for the perfect Easter basket stuffers, look no further! Most of these items can be shipped in two-days, which eases the last-minute search.

The boys are at a fun age where if you buy more of a "baby" item, Ethan can't get enough of it, and if you buy more of a "big boy" item, Wyatt can't have it enough. What is that about? Too funny! Also, practical slip-on shoes and jammies are always a good idea. Oh, and sugar too!

Do you have all of your baskets ready to go? I can hardly wait!

Spring Shopping for Littles

Looks for Him: Neon Swim Trunks // Floral Shirt // Romper // Muscle Tee //

Every now and then, I'll get a catalogue in the mail and the whole thing will just speak to me {clearly, I'm a marketer's dream!} and such was the case when I got the Tea Collection magazine in the mail. The little girl things made my heart swell and the boys stuff is just so good too. I want it all {the girl stuff in my size}!

Even with a snow storm on its way, I'm pining away for spring! Please send warm weather soon!

Have a great weekend!

Our Spring Mantel

Our mantel is always evolving, depending on the season. Right now, I'm happy to bring some color into the space by adding pops of color thanks to some seasonal decor and some personal touches, which include these new framed prints, courtesy of Shutterfly.

It's actually pretty rare that I print and frame photos, but I'm always glad I do once I have them. These are such precious moments, it's important to capture them!

For similar decor, check out Target...I love this wreath and this banner. Bunnies are from Pier 1.

I can't believe Easter is just a couple weeks away, can you?!

Weekend Recap

Spring felt like it made it's first appearance this past weekend! It was sunny out and the windows were open! I thought I'd catch you up on what we've been up to lately...

Whipped ricotta toast with honey, banana and pistachio...SO good! Make it ASAP.

We got a new rug for the kitchen and the cat's new favorite place is right in front of the heating vent! ;)

We ventured out for brunch on Saturday with the kiddos and really enjoyed it! I think we'll be dining out more often!

These two are such stinkers!!

Ethan tested out his new bike {we got it here} and did so well!

Saturday night Ethan and I went on a date {with another mom and her daughter} and saw Beauty and the Beast! It was as good as everyone had been raving about! I was happy to wear my new sweater and jeans out...love the flats too, from Zara! ;)

Hope you all had a great weekend!
