SHOPBOP Sale Picks!

If you haven't heard already, the SHOPBOP sale is going on, where the more you spend, the more you save!

Knowing this sale only comes around limited times during the year, I'll usually keep an eye on a couple investment pieces that really make the savings worthwhile. Some of my favorite brands to splurge on include:

MOTHER {seriously the best fitting jeans}
Xirena {love their blouses}

Are you shopping the sale?

Favorite Amazon Buys {Part 2}

These are all my recent purchases off Amazon {you can see my original post here}. I've really tried to take better care of my skin lately and I'm excited to see how these products do for me. I've heard the Drying Lotion is a great spot treatment for pesky breakouts! It also seems like a small luxury, but I love lighting candles and really love having a wick trimmer so that my candles burn more cleanly. Last, if you have a bigger phone, the pop socket is a must!

Do you have any recent buys? Please share!

#SchueCasa: Dining Room Inspiration

The front room of our house, AKA the dining room, gets a lot of natural light and has gorgeous views of the mountains. The question I have is if it's really practical to set up a formal dining room in this space or to use it for more of a sitting room? It could also be used as a makeshift playroom, though I hate the idea that it would be the first thing you see when you walk in!

I should mention that we have a large eat-in kitchen where we will likely eat all of our meals so this space would be for when we have company over, particularly around the holidays.

Here are some inspiration photos:

These are the kind of sitting rooms I have in mind if we went that direction...

What is your preference?

Moody Florals

There is nothing better than a moody floral to help your closet transition into spring...they're still appropriate for winter and yet give a hint of spring! I personally love this Madwell blouse and these fun workout leggings!

Also found this cuuuute dress {under $60 too!) after making the above collage.
