Dresses for Spring + Summer Weddings

I've gotten a couple questions and comments about what to wear to an upcoming wedding, rehearsal dinner or shower. If you want additional ideas, check out this recent post

I love the idea of florals and bright colors...oh and that gorgeous dusty lilac!

To round out these dresses a nude heel really works with any of these options. And I love a simple clutch for the occasion!

Do you have any big events coming up?

Loving Lately

Some fun things I'm loving lately...

+ These high-tops...perfect for mom errands on the weekends!

+ This floral skirt and this floral dress for all the spring events coming up!

+ The most ADORABLE swimsuit for summer! Also this!

+ Thinking about trying the denim overall trend with these. Thought??

+ This small, but mighty, nightlight that Wyatt is now obsessed with. It's finally allowed him to sleep with his overhead lights off. And he loves that he can turn it up, down or to dim. Plus, how cute is it??

+ I'm on Poshmark now if you want to follow along! I hope to do some spring cleaning soon and add to my closet.

+ Dying to try this soon!

+ This instagram account is serving up a lot of inspo for our next house!

+ Last, I just bought this jumpsuit and love it! Can wear to work or play!

Spring Tea Party Idea Board

My good friend is expecting her third son next month so we thought it would be fun to sprinkle her with a little tea party! It's the perfect time of year to get festive with flowers, tea cups and treats, don't you think? Especially with Easter coming up next weekend!

I decided to splurge on some fun mis-matched tea cups and also plan to display some mini scones {and perhaps tea sandwiches} on this dessert stand. And how adorable are all the Meri Meri x Liberty party supplies?

We'll plan to serve tea...and mimosas, of course! Can't wait to celebrate her!

Easter Best in Dresses

Easter Weekend is coming up in three weeks...what are your plans? We usually do a casual Easter brunch + egg hunt with friends...but it's always fun to have an excuse to dress up!

I'm still loving all the moody florals for spring...and trust me, it feels appropriate for Tahoe with all the SNOW we have right now. Winter definitely showed up late this year!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

His + Her Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is quickly approaching and I've started to put some ideas together for the boys' Easter baskets. I will say, I'm pretty disappointed that Gap did not come out with Easter jammies for boys this year. Even the dino set I have above is technically meant for girls. This will be the last year the boys can match as Ethan is quickly growing out of toddler clothing...oh well!

On a bright note, I do love the cute wire baskets that are out right now! It's a fun twist on the traditional baskets!

What items do you include in your child's Easter basket?

Spring Uniform

Though we're experiencing a lot of snowy weather, I'm still excited for spring! This is a go-to outfit of mine, particularly on the weekends but I would easily wear it with a pair of wide-legged pants for work...something like these or these. I am still loving the mule trend and have really embraced high-waisted pants and jeans! Here's the breakdown...

Mini Tassel Bag: Looks just like the Chanel one and holds so much stuff! Officially obsessed!

Choker: So dainty and perfect for layering! Secretly loving that this 90's trend is making it's way back!

AGOLDE High-Rise Jeans: I was a little uncertain about this trend {again, another throwback to the 90's} but I really love how they've modernized these with the distressed hem and let me tell you...for those of you who've had babies, the high-waist trend is your friend!!

Floral Blouse: Perfect to dress up for work with some wide-legged pants or wear on the weekends. The black trim really makes this blouse special.

Bralette: So I finally took the plunge and ordered a cute bralette! I love it now under sweaters so a little bit peeks through and can see wearing this all spring and summer long with a sluchy tee.

Mules: Last but not least, I love these mules! They're super comfortable right out of the box and so easy to wear for almost any occasion!
