37 Weeks: Full Term!

How far along? 37 Weeks...full term baby!
Baby Size: About 6.5 pounds and 19 inches long...the size of a wintermelon {yeah...not sure what that is either!}
Total weight gain: Looking like 25 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes and no. It's been a fun game to see what still fits. Wore a bikini for this first time this past weekend...oh yeah!
Stretch marks? Still in the clear...knock on wood!
Sleep: Ehhhh I'm getting up multiple times a night to change sides or go potty. Plus it's getting HOT here so windows are open all night long. Oy!
Best moment this week: Learning that I'm progressing along...60% effaced and a fingertip dilated! Just hope he keeps on baking a little bit longer. :)
Miss Anything? Being able to move without huffing and puffing...and not being puffy from the heat!
Movement: Yes, all the time and it's starting to almost hurt. He's definitely trying to stay comfy but there's just not enough room in there!
Food cravings: Fresh fruit and veggies. So excited that the Farmer's Market opens this week! And mint chip ice cream.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing new.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: Still nothing of note. Sometimes a little cramping, but nothing big.
Symptoms: Feeling hot and uncomfortable all the time. I don't know how you mommies do it through the summer! Tired, back and lower tummy aches/cramps. All textbook stuff though!
Belly Button in or out? Halfie
Wedding rings on or off? on
Mood: Happy, but irritable. Feeling tired and groggy and a little anxious! But I really can't complain...it's all worth it, especially knowing he'll be here SO soon!!
Looking forward to: This is my last week of work before maternity leave, so I'm looking forward to getting things wrapped up so I don't have to worry {as much!} while I'm out Also, just dyyying to finish the nursery...we ordered a map via Amazon and they sent the wrong one. Darn it! Hopefully we can get it fixed this week so I can officially show you the finished product soon!

  33. Woo hoo! Full term! What a great feeling. So glad to hear all is well and you're starting to progress. I didn't have any progress at any of my OB appointments, which was disheartening. I was so ready to meet our little guy, as I'm sure you are. The next few weeks are definitely the hardest. Especially with the heat! You're doing awesome!
