Thoughts for Thursday

+ Yesterday, I got to be a tourist in my own town.  It's really something to take a step back and enjoy the place that you live in.  It reminded me of how lucky I am to live in beautiful Tahoe.

+ I just ordered this Zara dress and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

+ If toddlers used Facebook...so much of this rings true!

+ Pretty much obsessed with everything about this house.

+ Hardest Disney trivia quiz...I got 12 out of 25!

+ I'm on the lookout for a booster seat for Ethan...any ideas?

+ Kind of digging these workout pants...thoughts?

  1. Tahoe is beautiful! In regards to the booster, I love that ours (bumbo) has straps. A lot if the ones I looked at (oxo, prince lionheart, etc did not) and Ashlynn alwYs leans over to see the dogs under the table (waiting for fallen toddler food). Also keeps her and her pb fingers contained until u can wipe her up!!!

  2. I got 11/25 on that quiz and a few of those were lucky guesses - and I love Disney movies!
    That house is gorgeous!

  3. I love Tahoe, as you know. You're super lucky! I think Summer is even better than Winter there. Have you ever been to the Tahoe Shakespeare Festival?? #awesome

  4. We use the fisher price booster seat. It has straps that attach it to the chair and to strap the kid in. The back and the tray can come off and make it easier to travel with (we even brought ours to a restaurant that didn't have high chairs). We walked to the restaurant and it fit under the stroller :). I like the option of having the tray or taking it off and pulling Noah right up to the table. Good luck with your search.

  10. Instead of a booster seat, we got this chair booster - http://www.amazon.com/Kaboost-Portable-Chair-Booster-Green/dp/B000V3YFJI

I love that it just lifts the chair, and that C can get in and out of the chair on his own (a booster would have been cumbersome and bulky). This is much more hidden! C always wanted to sit in the chairs just like us so this way he can! :)

  12. I've never been to Tahoe, but it looks absolutely gorgeous!! You're so right about taking a step back and realizing the beauty of where you are... Here in CO, I definitely take the mountains for granted but saw them the other day and thought, wow those are gorgeous. :) Aaaaaamazing dress from Zara, so beautiful!! Fun links. :)

  13. If you find a great booster chair please share! I'm on the hunt for one as well. My little guy refuses to sit in his highchair these days wanting to sit in the "big people" chairs like mommy & daddy.
