Would You Wear Wednesday: Overalls

I distinctly remember my first pair of overalls.  I think they were from the Limited Too and I wore them with my platform sneakers.  They were baggy and I kind of felt like I was part of TLC {in fact, I think I dressed up as Left Eye on Halloween}.

Fast forward 20 years, and guess what?  They're baaaaaaack!  It shouldn't be a huge surprise, as boyfriend {aka baggy} jeans made a comeback, then jumpsuits, now Birkenstocks.  So really, it was only a matter of time...and I fully expect body suits to hit the scene, any day now.

So, would you wear this look?

  1. When I saw this coming back a few months sho I rolled my eyes, but I think now I probably would wear them. I had overalls as a toddler, in 5th/6th grade snd again! In HS! The are comfy, hide flaws, and are easy! As doon as gap starts selling them again (outside of the kids dept) I'll ptob snag a pair lol

  2. I think I had a pair from limited too as well! I rolled my eyes at this trend too! I can't see myself wearing the super fitted kind and for my lifestyle the shirts version seems more realistic.

  5. I think overalls are like rompers, where if you have the right body type you can rock them with confidence, but on the majority of adults who don't fit into that one particular body type they make you look like an oddly proportioned four-year-old.

  7. The minute I saw this trend coming back I knew I had to have a pair. The great thing about overalls now is the cuts are way more flattering. Dressed down with sneakers or up with wedges...wear mine ALL the time!

  10. It's scary to see fashion trends repeating themselves....guess I'm older then I'd like to think! Not too sure if I can pull off the overalls this time around may have to leave that trend to the kids! Stephanie http://www.randomnessga.blogspot.com/

  17. I saw bodysuits not too long ago at H&M- a fad I was sure would never come back. They were so uncomfortable! I loved overalls at the time, but I think I'm over them now :)

  19. I totally wore overalls growing up - and as I teen you better believe I rocked them with a tank and the top part not buckled, hanging down - because I was THAT cool!! Not sure what to think now - there are certain styles that I love but not sure if I could rock them!
