Remember how a LONNNNNNNG time ago I told you that we bought the lot next door? Well! I am excited to tell you that we're finally starting to make some progress! We're working on plans with our architect and hope to break ground this spring. So naturally, I am pinning away {you can see all of my inspiration on my Pinterest Board} and I love thinking about all of the possibilities! It's also a bit overwhelming, so I'm planning to put some mood boards together to keep me focused! I hope you'll indulge me...and if you have any tips/tricks/sources, let me know!
As for my moodboard, some things to note: I always thought I wanted an all-white kitchen but have heard they're not practical with young kids + we live in a mountain community, so I think the above tones are more fitting. I am very interested in using Semi-Handmade for our cabinets {with IKEA, of course}...does anyone have experience with working with them? I'm debating floating shelves, around the sink or dishwasher just to break up the aesthetics. I love a white subway tile...but the question is how to place it? In a herringbone pattern? Also want to include lots of drawers...yes! Last, I'm thinking of going with a white quartz, but should we consider a darker counter color for the perimeter?
