Halloween 2017

Halloween was a whirlwind this year! I felt like there was a lot more time to celebrate leading up to Halloween, especially with Halloween falling on a Tuesday night {school night!}. We went to school parties, a Harvest Festival and of course, trick or treating that night!

The boys opted to dress alike this year, which I can actually see being a trend for several years. Luckily, their two little friends had the same idea and we had a crazy ninja gang on our hands! Too funny!

Halloween 2016

This Halloween was our favorite yet as the boys are old enough to really get into the festivities and enjoy!  We had a fun-filled Halloween weekend including going to a Harvest Party, carving pumpkins with spooky music in the background, making ghost pancakes and trick-or-treating with friends!  Seeing their joy is making me SO excited for the upcoming holiday season...bring on the carols and the red cups!  ;)

Our Halloween 2015

We had a great Halloween night!  We lucked out with warm {for Tahoe!} weather which was a nice change for trick or treating.  It was also lots of fun having Halloween on a Saturday night, which allowed us to come down from our sugar high on Sunday.  Also--Sunday it was pouring rain all day--so we really scored on our Halloween!  We had fun seeing friends at a Halloween party before heading over to Ryan's family for more Halloween fun.  Emerson also joined us...isn't she the cutest little ladybug?

I hope you all had a great Halloween--and didn't have too hard of a time adjusting to the time change!

Our Weekend // Halloween

We had a fun Halloween weekend, complete with snow!

We were able to bribe Ethan into wearing his costume for a lollipop...and he loves doing anything that his cousin does...as demonstrated above.  He calls himself "Eece's Boy" because he loves his cousin Reese that much.  Pretty darn cute!

He had fun passing out candy and when we went trick-or-treating, he was trying to give people his candy at the door! 

Saturday morning we were greeted with SNOW!  First of the season!

Sunday morning, we enjoyed the extra hour of sleep and then Ethan helped daddy make pancakes.  He is such a little helper these days!

And later that day, we went for a walk in the snow.  Look at this ham!  He's finally coming around to wearing his sunglasses and beanie!  ;)

We ended the weekend with homemade pumpkin oatmeal cookies...baked by the hubby.  It's the little things, but that got some major points with me!  ;)

I simply could not resist this costume with the furry chest and adorable tusks.  Ethan is definitely not a fan, but it's nothing that a lollipop couldn't remedy!  ;)

I think this will be nice and warm for tomorrow night when we go out trick-or-treating...he will be hamming it up left and right!
