Things I'm Obsessed with Right Now

I downloaded the soundtrack to Hamilton yesterday and am now obsessed with it.  The lyrics are SO good and it makes me want to see the musical...which is unfortunate since it's sold out through November!  :(

But speaking of musicals...we are headed to New York SO soon and I could not be more excited!  We're planning to stay at the Ace Hotel and see Wicked--which I haven't seen before.  Any suggestions on places to eat or things to see?  Let me know!

I just started reading When Breath Become Air which came highly recommended from friends and I have to say that it is such a compelling read.  I will have to give a recap once I'm done with it.

I'm on to a new protein bar, Aloha...which can be found at Target.  I also love Think Thin bars, in chunky peanut butter.  They pack a lot of protein and are great for us moms on the go.

And as long as we're on a health note, I just wore these workout leggings for the first time and I was so impressed with the quality.  I've bought many a workout legging from Target in the past and they don't stretch or have the high quality materials that other high-end brands have.  But these feel luxurious and look cute!  Definitely check them out!

I'm a sucker for cute wine labels and picked this up at our local discount gorcery store for a couple bucks and it's surprisingly good!  In researching for this blog post, it turns out this the Millionare Matchmaker's, still love it!  ;)

Perhaps the thing I'm most obsessed with right now is the fact that Game of Thrones is back on...SO good!

I hope you had a great weekend!

  1. I'm with you on being obsessed with Hamilton--we are in this house too! You can still get tickets, but they are MEGA expensive. Lin Manuel is a genius!

  2. Wicked is my all time favorite musical... I'm so excited you get to go when here in NYC!!!

  3. I'm not sure if Broadway musicals still do this, but when I was there a few years ago you could go to the box office 2 hours before a show and enter a lottery to get up to 2 seats in the first two rows for $25 each. My name was called for Wicked and we got seats in the 2nd row, it was amazing! I think they do it because people say you can't see that way from those seats, but we had no problem. Maybe look into that for Hamilton when you're in NYC?!

  4. I love these posts! Will have to check out those C9 leggings for sure. You will love Wicked! Also, definitely check out Buddakan for dinner in NYC - we go every time we visit and have yet to be disappointed. The atmosphere is so amazing and the food is perfect. It's the same restaurant Carrie and Big had their rehearsal dinner at (the big long table) on the Sex and the City movie;)

  5. I've heard so many good things about that book!

  6. Have so much fun in NYC! Wherever you eat, it will be good! :) Just restaurant hop!
