Mama + Mini Me Style

Yellow big chambray/little chambray skirt/shorts
Orange suit sweater/trunks
Blue dress sweater/jeans
Green big tank/little tank pants/shorts
Big Moccs/Little Moccs

Since my Easter post, I've gotten a couple requests to post on mama and mini me style...boys edition!   I already love the ideas I get from Jessica and Erinn and how they match to their sweet daughters, so I thought I'd take a crack at matching my outfits to how I would dress Ethan.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...baby boy clothes have come a long way!  And now that Ethan is bigger, I love dressing him in little man outfits.  I don't think there is anything cuter!  I can't wait for this summer, when he can sport shorts and little muscle tees...seriously, I die over the cuteness.

Do you ever match your little one's style?

  1. Cute finds! Every once in awhile I do try to match the little ones. Not in the same clothes, but in the same color scheme. ;)

  3. Love this! We are doing family pictures soon and I want to coordinate with my son. I was thinking of doing a post like this with some options :-). We matched at Easter as well and I loved it! Who says mommy and daughters are the only ones who can have fun matching! And boys clothes are so fun now... I think I love everything at Gap right now!

  10. I love matching with Owen and I think it's so fun to find ways to make it "work" for both of us--without making him look to girl or me too boyish. Sometimes it happens on accident--I guess mood and the fact that I pick both our outifts each day is to blame!

  13. I love this! I usually try to match my son with his papa but then I'm the odd ball out. I should attempt a mini me matching day. BTW, you are so right... baby boy fashion use to be PITIFUL -- it's definitely getting cuter now!

  16. These clothes are super pretty, I'd wear them even if I'm not a mama yet! I think it's really sweet when I see moms matching their kids. Or I guess it's vice versa!

  17. let's just say if CC and I could wear matching bows, I would do it everyday...I love a little color planning when we have a fun day planned-bright prints and pastels are our favorites!

  18. I thought it would be a nightmare trying to shop for a boy, but it has turned out to be pretty fun!

That orangish striped sweater from the Gap....I tried to love it since we were headed to the beach too.....but it was just too girly, and I couldn't put Mace in it :((
