Beauty Finds

I thought I'd share some great beauty finds I've been introduced to and discovered lately.

First and foremost is the Hana Air Hair Dryer which was sent for me to review by Misikko.  Let me just say that I had been using the same drugstore hair blow dryer for years and had NO idea what I was missing out on.  This hair dryer is the Cadillac of dryers...it puts out such a strong force of air that I have to use the middle setting and it's very quiet, which is such a change from previous dryers.  This dryer definitely holds up to the hype...best blow dryer ever!

I haven't actually used this Dove Dry Shampoo yet, but I love their hairspray and I've heard good things about this product.  Anyone out there try it yet?

Something I have tried is Sudzz Whipped Creme and Honey Volumizing Shampoo.  I mean, doesn't the name alone sell you?  It did for me!  I love the smell and was fairly impressed with how my hair felt after.  Although, it's probably not a fair assessment post partum since I was losing so much hair!

Speaking of post partum, with Ethan's eczema issues lately, we've been slathering on the Weleda Calendula Baby Cream.  It's SUPER thick and creamy...which makes it a little difficult to apply, but works really well.

Another great product that I was introduced to by Charleston Naturally, is the Dr. Hauschka Melissa Day Cream.  The smell is divine...it's very citrusy!  I love the way it felt on my face...not greasy at all.  I have oily skin so this was great for shine control as well.

Last, I want to showcase the Scout by Bungalow bags.  So many fun and vibrant patterns...and great options for traveling and moms on the go, like me!

So tell me...what is your favorite beauty find lately?

  3. Really want to try Dove’s dry shampoo, so I’ll let you know how it goes! My current favorite product is Benefit's High Brow pencil. It makes me look like I've just had two giant cups of coffee - perfect for early morning wake-up calls!

  6. I need to try that Dry Shampoo and am in the market for a new hair dryer, might need to give that one a try. I am also loving my new High Definition Powder from E.L.F.. Cheap and really smooths out my face!

  7. I'm in love with dry shampoo! I had only used an expensive brand from my stylist and then one day saw some by Suave at WalMart... $2.97. LOVE.

  8. I'm excited to see that so many people have tried dry shampoo. My hairstylist mentioned it the last time I was there because I flat iron my hair (it's wavy) and really prefer washing it every day, which, combined with flat ironing, wreck havoc on it. If you try it, please let us know what you think! :)

I tried Essie's "good to go" topcoat this week for a quick polish dry - it worked well! I usually use OPI RapidDry topcoat, which I also like but is a bit more expensive. We'll see if it makes my manicure last as long! :)

  10. I've never tried the Dove Dry Shampoo, but I'm trying a new brand every time I run out so I can find one I like. So far I've tried Tresemme, Suave and Avenoo. I like the Avenoo the most. I just heard Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo is good too.

Where do you shop for products?

  11. I love Aveda products. I love their Shampure line.

I was not crazy about the Sudddz at all. It was very heavy {in my opinion}.

A beauty must/obsession of mind is Josie Maran Argan oil. Best stuff for dry skin! It is greasy so I use it at night. Also love it as a hair "mask!"

  12. I haven't tried the Dove but I think dry shampoo is an absolute MUST for every mama out there. I use Batiste for brown hair as I find others a little light.

Would love if you could check me out at www.samandasha2.blogspot.co.uk

  14. I'm not sure if I've purchased fluke cans of the dove dry shampoo, but twice I've bought it and I only get one use out of each can. I gave it the benefit of the doubt first time, but second time was my last time buying it. The one use I got I loved, but not worth it. I like suave dry shampoo, nice and cheap, but also a good product.
