My Favorite Beauty Products

It's shocking how long it's been since I've blogged about any sort of beauty product!  I know I always enjoy learning what other women use and recommend out there...so I figured it was HIGH time I get to it and make some recommendations of my own.  These are my seven favorites:

I love this shampoo & conditioner mainly because it is sulfate-free.  I also love the lather it creates and the spa-like scent.  I've heard this is the same company as the high-end {and expensive} Kerastase brand...only rumor, so don't quote me...but I can easily see why the two could be connected.  This brand is all about quality...and a good price to boot!

This has been a loyal and long-time favorite of mine.  The 15 SPF is most important to me...ladies...you should only be wearing facial moisturizer with SPF in it...it will SAVE your skin.  This also has a light and non-greasy application.

Why wouldn't you use the same lotion you use on your baby?  This lotion is a non-greasy, beautifully smelling and nutritious option for your skin.  I apply every time I get out of the shower and there is no question that the shea & cocoa butter have an amazing effect on your skin.

I use this hairspray everyday and I can't get over how well it works with my hair without ever being sticky or obtrusive.  It has a great smell too...perfect for everyday use and added texture.

I honestly look forward to showering with this product...it has such a fresh and simple scent...lathers great but does not leave any sort of residue.  Definitely check it out...you'll feel clean and smell lovey--without being overpowering.

I've only recently become acquired to the grapefruit scent and taste, but I can tell you that this facial wash is truly divine.  It is so refreshing and leaves your skin soft and smooth.  I really love the sweet scent too.

I know this is not a new concept by any means, but I have to say...with all the dry shampoos out there, I still always gravitate back to good old fashioned baby powder.  Nothing keeps my hair more fresh or voluminous than that darned powder.  It really works wonders...I'm a loyal for life.

So what do you think?  Have you tried any of these products?  Have any favorites to share?  I'd love to hear!

  13. Lovely post. Like you Johnsons Baby Powder is a firm staple. I haven't seen the shampoo you recommend yet in Europe, but have duly made a note. As I use Kerastase products, this would be a good change. I'm currently using Yes to Tomatoes shampoo and conditioner. The smell is to die for (and all organic I believe!)

  14. I tried out the Dove hairspray this time around too. I'm getting used to it. I'm not used to hairsprays that get so wet, but it does work pretty well and you're right- smells great!
