As the temps have cooled off, the days have gotten shorter and the holidays peek around the corner...I've found myself drawn to rich patterns, like plaids and fun textures like this marled effect.  I was delighted to see that Gap makes these beyond adorable plaid pants for baby and of course, I would love to match his style.  I think this "mama" outfit would be great for Thanksgiving or your holiday card, don't you?

Wedding Weekend

Tonight we have our good friends wedding and I am planning to wear this dress!  It's super flattering on...and would you believe it's Jessica Simpson?!  Way to go J!  I am also loving these heels and always like to spray a little Narcisco on before heading out the door.  It's my favorite nighttime scent!

Bridal Shower Attire

This weekend is my best friend's bridal shower!  I'm so honored to be her co-maid of honor, so it makes the whole weekend that much more special to be able to celebrate with her.

I'm planning to wear a pink Rebecca Taylor dress, but I recently saw this one on Natalie's blog and absolutely adore it {and it's on mega sale now!}.  The shape looks ultra flattering and there are so many ways to style it.  Like with these awesome black and metallic heels or some bracelets from Emily Maynard's new line.  I'm actually totally digging her jewelry...and it's all affordable.  Way to go!

Mom on the Go Style

Hi Friends...and Happy Friday!  I don't know about you, but coming off a short week last week, this week seemed super long!  So happy the weekend is finally here!

It's likely that if you lived in Tahoe, you'd see me running around in an outfit like the above.  I am loving boyfriend jeans right now...they're loose and comfortable, but still cute.  Throw an easy tee on top, in a pretty color like this mint, and that's my mommy uniform most days.  An oversized tote is also a necessity.  With a tee and jeans, I try to incorporate stylish accessories like these sandals with the metallic detail and mint studs.  Last, a great pair of shades are definitely appropriate...especially to hide my tired eyes!  ;)

I found this adorable little romper and wanted to build an outfit around it.  The back is super cute and flirty and it seems like a great piece to kick off the spring with.  I have to say that my favorite accessory here is this amazing turquoise cuff.  I am dying to own one like this one day.

Friday Fancies: Transitioning into Spring

While spring may be in full effect where you live, it's just starting to warm up here in Tahoe.  And while I can't wait to bust out my espadrilles and sun dresses, the weather isn't quite cooperating yet.

I love the idea of pairing pastels and whites with some harder elements like leather and studs during this transition from winter to spring.  The open toe heels breathe some fresh air into this look and the casual striped jacket adds some easiness.  Oh and you can't forget this awesome gold plate collar necklace...such a fun piece!
