Stocking Stuffer Ideas

I seem to be on a roll with my gift guides, so here's another one.

Stocking stuffers are always a fun challenge.  It's a fine line between coming up with clever yet useful gifts...and I generally feel that stocking stuffers are "fun" things...nothing too expensive.  The more pricy gifts should really stand on their own.  Some favorites not listed above are: travel size shampoos and lotions, gum, travel kleenex, socks, and candy.  You know, things you wouldn't necessarily buy for yourself, but are always nice to have!

For the things listed above...

Starbucks Gift Cards: Or any gift cards for that matter, but I can always use Starbucks!

A unique lip balm: I've heard great things about Sugar lip balms, and also swear by EOS.

Cozy mittens: This cashmere pair is not only cozy, but also functional...it works with your smartphone!

A fun gadget: I really need a portable charger...and now they have so many cute designs!

Hairbrush-on-the-go: For your purse, your desk, or your car, you can never have too many hairbrushes, right?

Pretty hair accessories: I love these kind of hair ties that don't pull or dent your hair.

iPhone 6 Case: Because everyone is getting a new iPhone for Christmas, right?  ;)

Seasonal Perfume: I am a die-hard Jo Malone fan and love this new scent.  Plus the small size makes it easy to pop into your purse.

Functional Makeup Tool: I am dying to try one of these things...they get great reviews!

The best tweezers: And I know my tweezers!  These are hands down the best.  If you're obsessed with eyebrows as much as I am, you should really just get the kit.

Statement Earrings: Nothing too spendy, but how fun are these ear jackets?!

Something to keep you organized: I'm pretty obsessed with this travel pouch...it can help keep all of those little things together in your purse.

So tell me...what kind of things do you traditionally find in your stocking?  What fun ideas am I missing?

His Wishlist 2014

For that special guy--whether it's your husband, dad, grandpa, brother, boyfriend or baby daddy--finding the perfect gift can be a challenge!  I've put some ideas together to help inspire your shipping list.

Backpack: This is no ordinary backpack...it's a diaper bag, disguised as a really cool backpack.  We actually use an old backpack for Ethan's diaper bag right now and I have to say, it's much easier on the back than the typical one shoulder options.

Sunglasses: Ryan has these and loves them!  They're larger frames and seem to really last.

Bluetooth Speaker: What guy doesn't love something "techy" for Christmas?

Workout Shorts: Whether to workout in or lounge around in, Lululemon makes the best gear.

Wallet: I love Herschel Supply Co and their products are really moderately priced, while being top notch quality.

Tie and Socks: They're little things but can make a huge difference with an outfit and men don't always take the time to buy things like this for themselves.

Slippers {less expensive version}: To keep his feet warm around the house!

What items do you have on your list for your guy?  I'd love to hear!

Our Thanksgiving

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving...a couple days late!  ;)  OH and can you believe it's already December?!

Did you all have a great holiday weekend?  We traveled down south and got to catch up with family and friends.  We enjoyed the warm weather and great company.  Here's an overview of our trip...

Ethan had his own seat for the first time while flying...he also suffered a pretty bad fall at the airport.  Check out that shiner on his forehead!  :(

Every time we travel down south, we stay with my bestie/soul sister in her gorgeous home.  She put together the most stunning centerpieces for Thanksgiving.  I wish I could whip something up like this!

When we're down with my family, we always do brunch on Newport Harbor with my mom and then dinner with my dad.  It's not a bad place to be!

Our 2014 Thanksgiving photo with a less than thrilled toddler!

We hit up Fashion Island on Black Friday to do some shopping and check out the decorations.

Their tree always gets me excited for Christmas!  ;)

We also got our first "successful" photo with Santa...the last two years were major fails, so I'll take this version!  Ethan wanted nothing to do with Santa though...thus his crouching next to us.

Friday night, I got to spend time with my best friends from high school...it's always so fun to catch up!

And we've all stayed in touch despite many moves, marriages and now pregnancies!

Every year, whether we're down for Thanksgiving or Christmas, we always see A Christmas Carol play.  It's been the same Scrooge for 35 years and is a really fun family tradition.

We always get dinner after, which is fun too!

All in all, it was a whirlwind of a weekend!  I always wish we had more time to see everyone and enjoy the nice weather, but so glad that we got down, despite me being 8 months pregnant!

I hope your week is off to a great start!
