Holiday Card Attire Ideas + Minted Giveaway!

Little Miss: Dress + Tights + Flats
Mom: Top + Jeans + Flats
Little Man: Plaid Shirt + Cords + Sneakers

Planning our holiday card and outfits is one of my absolute favorite things to do this time of year...but it's also stressful!  I've previously written a post on tips for planning your holiday card here, but I've since gotten a couple requests to provide some outfit ideas!

I'll plan to write a couple posts but wanted to kick this mini series off with a traditional color palette.  You can never go wrong with red, black and gray.  It's classic and yet still festive!

To compliment this look, I've matched it up with a couple of my favorite Minted cards!

I especially love their foil stamped and letterpress cards...their quality is top-notch!  And...their address assistant makes mailing out cards super simple!  And all of these card options would match the outfit scheme above beautifully!

Now for the BEST part...I'm teaming up with Minted to give away a $250 Minted.com credit to one lucky reader!!!  All you have to do is enter to win HERE!

The giveaway is open to U.S. residents only and will run until 11:59PM PST on October 26th.  One winner will be picked at random...will it be you?!

Good luck!!

Shopbop Fall Sale Picks

The BIG Shopbop sale is here and as I've said in the past, this is really the best time to buy those investment pieces {like these OTK boots} or fun staples for the season.  I have some of the items above, like the faux leather leggings {which I love and are SO flattering}, the Sorels, the sunglasses and the iPhone case.  I've been dying to get this tee, especially because it's my favorite style right now, and think the sale price is the only way I'll pull the trigger!

Are you shopping the sale?  Be sure to enter code MAINEVENT16 at checkout for the 25% discount {or 30% if you spend over $500!}.

Apple Hill 2016

This past Saturday, we made our way down the hill for Apple Hill.  This was our third visit and I feel like we're finally getting the hang of it!  We made three stops, all of which I would recommend and will want to remember for next year!

First stop, O'Halloran's Apple Ranch.  We've been here all three times and love the pumpkin patch for the kiddos!

Next up, we decided lunch at Boeger Winery was a good idea!  The grounds are gorgeous and very kid-friendly.  They have a sand pit with toy tractors and a real metal working shop.  Ethan even got his own "S" hook.  The wine isn't bad either, in fact it's really good!  ;)

Last stop was Rainbow Orchards which is a MUST as they sell apple cider donuts.  We also got a snap of three of the babes...

They grown so much since last year!

I.die!

If you ever get a chance to visit Apple Hill, definitely check it out!  There are a ton of orchards and festivities!

First Fall Weekend of the Year

Ahhh fall is here!  The leaves are changing, the air is crisp...so much so that we had our first SNOW this past weekend (!!) and the pumpkins are in abundance!  We had a festive fall weekend, complete with dear friends, festivals, and fun!

We kicked off the weekend going to Oktoberfest and the Fish Festival...the boys love the polka music and the pumpkins!

Me and the mama-to-be!
My Outfit: Hat + Sunglasses + Vest + Sweater (Love this one too!) + Jeans + Bag + Boots

Next up was the Fish Fest!

The salmon weren't quite running yet, but that didn't stop us from having fun!

Ethan with Cam...after he forgave him for popping his ballon sword!

Cam and Mer were visiting from Dallas and got the boys each cowboy hats and boots...they are SO cute!

We had the best time with our friends and wish we could see them more often!  We'll need to take a trip to Dallas soon!

Shortly after our friends left, it started to SNOW!  The boys were totally mesmerized!

We ended the weekend celebrating Ethan's uncle and cousin's birthday...he LOVES birthday parties {and cake...can you tell?!}.

I hope you had a great fall weekend too!
